Hope's Harbor Collection

When life hurts, no one should have to walk through it alone.
There are seasons when grief steals your words, anxiety steals your peace, or caregiving leaves you wondering how much longer you can keep going.
These devotionals were written for the moments when grief steals your words, anxiety steals your peace, or caring for someone you love leaves you wondering how much longer you can keep going.
Not to offer easy answers.
Not to rush your healing.
But to sit beside you with practical encouragement and gently remind you that even when God feels far away, He has never left your side.
Find the companion for your season.

Our Promise
We don't preach at people.
We sit with them.
We believe suffering is real.
We believe questions are part of faith.
We believe God isn't frightened by doubt.
Most of all...
We believe no one should have to walk through life's hardest seasons alone.

For Grief That Doesn’t Move On Schedule

Grief isn’t linear. It doesn’t care what the calendar says.
Whether you’ve lost a parent, a spouse, a child, a dream, or the version of life you thought you’d have — this devotional walks with you through the waves.
Inside you’ll find:
Scripture anchored in steady truth
250–300 word reflections grounded in real loss
Gentle journaling space
Permission to not be “strong” today
This isn’t “God needed another angel.”
This is:
God is near to the brokenhearted. Even when you’re exhausted by breaking.

For Anxiety, Depression & the Weight of Tomorrow

Some mornings feel heavier than others.
You wake up already behind. Already worried. Already bracing.
This devotional is built for teens and adults who:
Spiral at 2 a.m.
Feel spiritually numb.
Love God but can’t quiet their mind.
Each entry is short. Focused. Breathable.
Scripture.
Reflection.
A small prayer you can whisper when your chest is tight.
Not “have more faith.”
Just:
God, give me today. Not next week. Not forever. Just today.

Do you love someone who is battling addiction?

Addiction doesn’t just wound one person.
It fractures entire families.
This devotional is for:
The parent who doesn’t sleep.
The spouse who doesn’t know what’s true anymore.
The sibling who feels both rage and loyalty.
You can love someone and still feel angry.
You can pray and still feel resentful.
You can believe and still feel betrayed.
This book doesn’t shame you for that.
It gives you Scripture that holds tension.
It gives you language for complicated love.
It gives you permission to grieve someone who is still alive.

Why I write...

I didn't write these from theory.
I wrote them from losing my mother, walking beside my dad through Alzheimer's, loving someone caught in addiction, and wrestling with anxiety that didn't disappear simply because I had faith.
Those seasons taught me something I wish someone had told me sooner:
Suffering is real.
Faith can feel fragile.
And sometimes God feels painfully far away.
That's why these devotionals exist.
Not to preach.
Not to offer easy answers.
Not to rush anyone through grief or tell them how they should feel.
They were written to sit beside people in life's hardest moments with practical encouragement and a gentle reminder that even when God feels distant, He has never left.
Somewhere along the way, I realized I wasn't just writing books.
I was writing the companions I wish someone had handed me during the hardest seasons of my own life.
If these pages help you feel seen...
If they remind you that you're not walking through this season alone...
If they gently point you back to the God who has been beside you all along...
Then they've done exactly what I prayed they would.
